Loving the lovely Bianca Dye’s Love for Be Genki

Take a listen to the lovely Bianca Dye talking about and testing the acupressure pranamat live on air on her radio show i98FM.

Bianca is in to yoga and meditation and just happens to love us. Here’s a snippet of my favourite bit:
“I love all this self help stuff … and there’s this company called Be Genki who I’m absolutely in love with at the moment. They do all sorts of beautiful stuff, teas, and face products … and I saw this online and I thought I have to get one … it’s called the new self-healing pranamat, helps to relax and revitalize your body and mind. It’s meant to help with depression, headaches, muscle tone.”
Thank you Bianca xx you rock!!! xx

make a wish

Thank you for all your support throughout 2011. As always, I am truly grateful for your continued belief in Be Genki. Such a joy to be doing what I love to be doing, with continued love and encouragement from you.

I once heard a phrase that I like to remind myself of often:

those who believe in magic, are those who get to experience it.

Wishing you a wonderfully happy and healthy holidays with the new year bringing with it an abundance of love and magic.  xSam

Create a Space of Relaxation, Serenity and Love this December, by Making it a Priority to be Kind and Thoughtful to Your Self.

Whilst the holiday season is something that most of us look forward to, jumping with joy, it can also become a little stressful, frustrating and exhausting.

With the risk of sounding a little like the Scroodge, please be sensible. It’s not called the silly season for no reason. Partying, drinking, indulging, overeating and running around like a headless chicken from event-to-event and shop-to-shop, trying to please everyone but yourself, it’s no wonder many of us feel tired, rundown, overweight and stressed as the new year rolls around. Bedtime Rituals to Help Promote a Tranquil Sleep

Considering the stress and stimulation that we are increasingly being exposed to, it’s no wonder that many of us find it difficult to fall asleep at night, suffer from poor sleep or wake up feeling tired and flat.

Checking emails in bed on the iPhone or Blackberry (the one thing I am most certainly guilty of), eating a large meal at nighttime, going to the gym late at night, worrying about how much work there is to get through, watching television in bed, depending on alcohol or pharmaceuticals to help fall asleep, are all recipes for an inability to fall asleep or disrupted night’s sleep. Beautify Your Sleep with Silk

Are you someone that wakes up with a bird’s nest of tangled hair and the occasional crease mark on your face? Do you routinely apply a luxurious face serum, cream or oil to your skin in the evenings? Do you sleep on a pillowcase made from cotton? If you answered ‘yes’ to either of these questions, best to keep reading.  Continue reading

Anxiety, sleeping problems, mood swings, stress, the “blues”… do these words sound all too familiar to you? If you are currently suffering or would like to prevent these debilitating feelings from consuming your life, there is, in fact, much that you can do to help yourself be the happy and healthy person that you deserve to be.

What is a Self-Healing Acupressure Pranamat?

I have a new love that has been energising and relaxing me for the past six weeks: the new self-healing acupressure pranamat. On days when I wake up without a spring in my step, I lay on it for 20 minutes and my energy levels are restored. When I’m in a frustrated or stressed mood I lay on it for 30 to 40 minutes with my eyes closed, and am surprisingly a lot calmer and level-headed once I get up. Continue reading

Relax and Revitalise Your Body and Mind with the New Self-Healing Pranamat

A couple of months ago I was introduced to the pranamat, a self-healing tool that helps to relax and revitalise the body and mind. Initially I was attracted to the stylish colours and 100% natural and eco-friendly materials, but on hearing the health benefits all I wanted to do was road test one. The reason being, is that I spend a large portion of my day working on my laptop, and as a result tension is sometimes held within my shoulders and back. Continue reading
