Whilst the holiday season is something that most of us look forward to, jumping with joy, it can also become a little stressful, frustrating and exhausting.
With the risk of sounding a little like the Scroodge, please be sensible. It’s not called the silly season for no reason. Many years ago when starting my deep dive in to the world of natural skincare, personal care and all-things-organic, the first thing I threw out from my bathroom cabinet was the bottle of perfume, vowing never to use conventional fragrances ever again. Reason being, I was horrified by the effect that synthetic fragrances and fixatives had on my health, and wondered how on earth it was possible for companies to legally sell such poison and why it wasn’t common knowledge.
I first heard about Green School via a TED talk a number of years ago, so when the invitation presented itself to visit whilst in Bali with some dear friends we jumped at the opportunity.
I promise I haven’t forgotten about you … it’s just that I’ve been immersed in work in Bali with the occasional swim at the beach.
The first thoughts that come to mind when I hear the word Switzerland are ‘eco’ and ‘green’ – not only for the beautiful lush green valleys and mountains sprinkled with pretty flowers, but also for the admirable respect the people of Switzerland have for nature, the environment and sustainability. And how apparent that it is indeed green that we associate with this region. 



I am forever grateful and deeply inspired by people who live their lives boldly; those who aren’t afraid to take that leap of faith in to the unknown; to follow their heart and take risks so that their dreams can perhaps one day become a reality; to create new dreams; to step up and challenge the “norms” and what society conditions us to believe as “real” or “truth”; those who seek consciousness, to “wake up” from the disillusions of what it means to live, to be successful and to be happy.
